PILZ small controller PNOZmulti 2 Burner can now control and monitor the safety chain, combustion air pressure, ignition and flame formation. The "burner" also reliably monitors the tightness of the water supply lines, safety valves, ignition valves and exhaust valves, as well as the combustion air fan. For this purpose, multiple modules are used in the device, connecting a total of 40 safety digital inputs, 4 analog inputs and 12 digital outputs to the installed safety valves, sensors and actuators. The fieldbus module communicates via Profibus communication protocol with the high-standard controller of the equipment. This ensures that safety-related autonomous operations can also be performed in the operating controller. Pilz 's operating terminal PMI ensures minimal downtime and fast fault detection.
